Shortly after  the tables were complete I found a need to add additional lighting. Bending close over a tube or gusset some times put the work in so much shadow I couldn’t make out the marks to cut or drill. Three cheap Home Depot plug in fixtures hanging on chains did the trick. I plugged them into the same outlets that the garage door openers used.

The kit instructions called for bending forms. Three sizes were recommended 24″, 12″ and 6″. These forms needed to be perfect circles. Now I’m not good enough on a jig saw to make perfect circles nor is the arm of my jigsaw big enough to cut a 24″ circle.  YouTube to the rescue. There are several videos showing how to make a homemade sled using a pivot point and a table saw to cut perfect circles. Useful for bar stools and table tops. Also the instructions called for around 150 1 1/2 inch squares with drilled holes in the center. Both circles and squares could be drilled into the top off the work table to anchor parts in place or to secure for bending tubing.
